Squad Enhanced is a Squad (Unreal Engine game) based game play layer pack modification. It adds over 97 varied game play layers created by myself with additional level elements added to them and some additional gameplay features. Additionally it includes some new lighting layers.
A large amount of game play layer design, some level design with custom level additions to some layers.
A significant amount of Quality Assurance work, giving me valuable experience in methodologically testing for and replicating bugs or features not working correctly.
Every game play layer has been thoroughly tested when created or when new updates occur. Squad Enhanced required me to repeatedly test new features or blueprint for bugs. When bugs are found, I would set out to replicate them precisely and methodologically so I could then later fix them.
Varied and custom lighting for the game play layers.
Modification and implementation of several different commander abilities such as a 500kg bomb strike or a rocket barrage.
Minor blueprint creation/editing to assist with game play layer creation and design.
Worked with and communicated with the communities that ran the mod taking in constructive feedback and criticism giving me valuable experience working with others.
Determined the cause of a error that was causing server crashes. The cause being a certain faction's ammo box not spawning in on layers it was on.
Prevented and fixed several game breaking bugs such but not limited to spawn points not working properly, certain objectives not capturing or not being able to be entered, vehicles not spawning in on certain layers or in the wrong place, lighting breaking on certain layers after updates and more.
